Comprehensive Performance Comparison

Comparison results: Based on comprehensive performance evaluations—including basic parameters (viscosity, appearance, color shade, refractive index, etc.), compositional structure, and UV‑curing characteristics (curing speed, yellowing of the coating, curing shrinkage)—as well as mechanical properties, adhesion, and resistance to boiling water, the 10EO‑BPADA independently developed and manufactured by Boxing has demonstrated core performance metrics—such as structural integrity, curing rate, adhesion, curing shrinkage, and mechanical properties—that are essentially comparable to those of commercially available products.

Recommended Use Cases

(1) Optical Materials

10EO‑BPADA is widely used in the field of optical materials, largely owing to its outstanding optical and physicochemical properties. It not only imparts cured coatings with both high hardness and excellent flexibility, but its bisphenol A–based structure also confers a high refractive index, making it well suited for formulation systems in optical materials.

(2) UV coatings (for wood, plastics, PVC, metal protective coatings, etc.)

In the wood coatings sector, 10EO‑BPADA, with its outstanding flexibility and low shrinkage, effectively prevents cracking caused by substrate deformation. In plastic and PVC coatings, its excellent adhesion and weather resistance ensure long-term stability across a wide range of plastic substrates. For metal protective coatings, this product combines low irritation with high flexibility, making it well suited for high‑performance industrial coating systems.

(3) UV inks (for offset printing, flexographic printing, screen printing, varnishing, etc.)

10EO-BPADA features low odor, helping to improve the working environment in printing workshops; its low shrinkage ensures dimensional stability for large‑area printed materials; and its excellent pigment wetting capability delivers richer, more uniform ink colors, supporting the consistent production of high‑quality prints.

(4) UV Adhesive

The molecular structure of 10EO‑BPADA features a bifunctional moiety, enabling it to fully participate in UV‑induced crosslinking and film formation. The ethoxy chain segments impart excellent flexibility to the coating, striking an optimal balance between adhesive strength and deformation resistance; after curing, the coating exhibits minimal brittleness, making it well suited for sealing and composite bonding applications that demand both robustness and toughness.

(5) Electronic Precision UV Packaging Materials

In the electronics industry, 10EO‑BPADA, owing to its low curing shrinkage, can significantly reduce internal stresses during the encapsulation of electronic components, thereby ensuring dimensional accuracy in component fabrication. The cured film exhibits excellent chemical resistance, meeting the stringent long-term protection and high‑reliability requirements of precision electronic devices.

(6) 3D printing

As a functional monomer in 3D printing formulations, 10EO‑BPADA accelerates curing, reduces shrinkage, enhances dimensional accuracy and minimizes warping, while significantly improving the toughness and impact resistance of printed parts. It is well suited for 3D printing applications that demand both high precision and superior toughness.
