Party Building Highlights

Deeply study and implement Xi Jinping’s Thought on Culture.

Chen Xi pointed out that Xi Jinping’s Thought on Culture is a theoretical summation of the Party’s practical experience in leading cultural development in the new era. It enriches and develops Marxist cultural theory, forming the cultural component of Xi Jinping’s Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era. This thought provides a powerful ideological weapon and a scientific guide for carrying out propaganda, ideological, and cultural work in the new era and on the new journey, and for fulfilling our new cultural mission. Moreover, it contributes Chinese wisdom to creating a new form of human civilization and guiding the development and progress of global civilization. Leading cadres must, from the political height of deeply understanding the decisive significance of “two establishments” and firmly upholding “two safeguards,” comprehensively and systematically deepen their study of the rich connotations and practical requirements of this important thought. They should consistently cultivate themselves through culture and nourish their hearts with virtue. They must effectively translate their learning outcomes into concrete work achievements, conscientiously implement the Party Central Committee’s decisions and plans on cultural development, and strive to demonstrate new vigor and new accomplishments in the endeavor and practice of building a strong socialist culture and constructing a modern civilization for the Chinese nation.
