1. Water-based coatings
Such as water-based self-drying, water-based two-component, and water-based UV;
Due to the unique characteristics of wood—its natural fibers—the dehydration of the substrate before construction, the substrate's water absorption during application, and the dehydration of the coating after completion are all relatively complex. Therefore, a mature solution is to use water-based topcoats.
2. UV Coating
After years of development, the resin, formulations, and processes have become relatively mature, leading to intense homogeneous competition.
3. Powder coating
Electrostatic spraying—traditional hot-melt temperatures range from 180 to 200°C, which wood can't withstand. Many major companies are currently developing solutions.

Ink is a homogeneous mixture composed of coloring agents (such as pigments and dyes), binders, fillers, additives, and other substances; it is capable of being printed and dries on the substrate. It is a colored, paste-like adhesive with a certain degree of fluidity. Therefore, color (hue), body (rheological properties such as viscosity and flowability), and drying performance are the three most important characteristics of ink. There are many different types of ink, each with distinct physical properties—some are very thick and sticky, while others are quite thin and runny.
The packaging of gel nail polish is similar to that of traditional nail polish—each comes with an integrated brush for direct application. However, since gel nail polish cures when exposed to light, the outside of the gel polish bottle must be coated with a layer of paint to prevent light from penetrating. Gel nail polish boasts characteristics such as being non-toxic, odorless, and environmentally friendly. It combines the glossy finish of gel with the vibrant color of oil-based polishes. As a symbol of the latest trend in manicuring, gel nail polish differs from conventional nail polishes in that its raw materials are derived from natural resins, giving it eco-friendly, non-toxic, and health-safe properties.
As is well known, by depositing a thin film onto the surface of certain materials, it is possible to endow those materials with numerous new and improved physical and chemical properties. In the 1970s, the primary methods for coating surfaces were electroplating and chemical plating. The former involves passing an electric current through an electrolyte, causing the ions in the electrolyte to be deposited onto the substrate, which serves as the other electrode. Consequently, for this type of coating to work effectively, the substrate must be an excellent electrical conductor, and it is also difficult to precisely control the thickness of the resulting film.
