Centipoise

The centipoise (cP) is the smallest unit of dynamic viscosity. Dynamic viscosity measures the internal frictional force within a liquid as it flows under a given shear stress. It is defined as the ratio of the shear stress applied to the flowing liquid to the shear rate. In the International System of Units, it is expressed in Pa·s, but it is conventionally denoted by cP.

Format tube

The Ford viscosity cup is a glass tube with a stopper, approximately 10.75 mm in inner diameter and 115 mm in height, featuring two calibration marks at 100 mm and 108 mm. Typically, 20 cups are packed in a box. It is used to hold liquid samples and is widely employed in coating research laboratories, architectural decoration industries, and the coatings and paint manufacturing sector.
When performing the measurement, fill the liquid up to the 100 mm mark. After reaching a constant temperature, insert the stopper until the liquid level reaches the 108 mm mark. Continue maintaining the temperature for 10 minutes, then quickly invert the viscometer and place it vertically in a 25℃ water bath. Measure the time required for an air bubble to rise from the bottom of the viscometer to its top. Express the result in seconds, and clearly indicate that the measurement was conducted at 25℃.

Stomer viscometer

The Stormer viscometer is primarily used to determine the viscosity of paints and other coatings whose viscosity is expressed in KU units. This instrument does not require weights and can directly display the KU value of the sample being tested on its screen. Its applications include paints, coatings, inks, adhesives, and paste-like materials.

Rotational viscometer

A rotational viscometer is used to measure the viscous resistance and dynamic viscosity of liquids. It is widely employed to determine the viscosity of various fluids, including oils, paints, plastics, food, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, adhesives, paper-making materials, and chemical products. It is a precision instrument essential for monitoring and controlling product quality stability in manufacturing processes.

Engler viscometer

The Engler viscometer is designed and manufactured in accordance with the requirements specified in the national standard GB/T 266, "Method for Determination of Engler Viscosity of Petroleum Products," and in T0622, "Engler Viscosity Test for Asphalt (Engler Viscometer Method)," which is part of the national industry standard JTJ 052, "Test Procedures for Asphalt and Asphalt Mixtures in Highway Engineering. It is suitable for determining the Engler viscosity of a liquid—the ratio of the time (in seconds) required for the liquid to flow out of the Engler viscometer under specified temperature and volume conditions to the time (in seconds) required for distilled water to flow out at 20°C. The unit of Engler viscosity is the Engler degree. This instrument can simultaneously test two samples in the same temperature environment and calculate the average time, making it an ideal tool for determining the Engler viscosity of petroleum products and asphalt products.

Ford No. 4 Cup

The Ford cup is manufactured in accordance with the paint and raw material standards ASTM D 1200, D333, and D365 established by the American Society for Testing and Materials. It is a convenient viscometer used to determine the viscosity of inks, coatings, paints, and similar materials. The cup is meticulously crafted from high-quality aluminum and features a small hole at its base, with a capacity of approximately 100 ml. The Ford cup measures the viscosity of a sample by determining the time it takes for a specified volume of the sample to flow out through the small hole at the bottom of the cup.

DIN viscosity cup

The DIN viscosity cup is very easy to use. It is made of anodized aluminum, with a stainless steel orifice, and is designed to measure the viscosity of paints, varnishes, and similar products. The measured dynamic viscosity is typically expressed as the number of seconds required for the liquid to flow out. The cups are available in DIN No. 2, No. 3, and No. 4 sizes.

Apply - 4 cups

The ZHU-4 cup is the most widely used viscosity cup in China. Designed according to GB/T 1723-93, it is suitable for measuring the conditional viscosity (outflow time no greater than 150 seconds) of paints and other related products. Under specified temperature conditions, the cup measures the time required for a fixed volume of sample to completely flow out through a hole of a specified diameter, with the result expressed in seconds (S).

Anaerobic adhesive

Anaerobic adhesive, often referred to simply as anaerobe, is also known as oxygen-impermeable adhesive, anaerobic sealant, threadlocker, or mechanical adhesive. It is a single-component sealing and bonding agent formulated based on the principle of oxygen-induced radical inhibition. It can be used both for bonding and for sealing. When the coated surface is isolated from air and subjected to catalysis, the adhesive rapidly polymerizes and cures at room temperature. The term "anaerobic" refers to the fact that this adhesive does not require oxygen during use.

Pressure Sensitive Adhesive

Pressure-sensitive adhesive, often abbreviated as PSA, is a type of adhesive that exhibits sensitivity to pressure. It is primarily used in the manufacture of pressure-sensitive tapes.

PCB Manufacturing Process and Overview of PCB Ink Composition

A PCB (Printed Circuit Board), known in Chinese as a printed circuit board or printed wiring board, is an essential electronic component. Because it is manufactured using electronic printing technology, it is referred to as a “printed” circuit board.
