BM3384: 3PO-GTA

BM3384, propoxylated glycerol triacrylate, abbreviated as 3PO-GTA or GPTA, is a trifunctional UV monomer.

It has the following characteristics:

1. Fast curing speed

As a trifunctional monomer, 3PO-GTA can rapidly participate in free-radical polymerization reactions, forming a three-dimensional network structure and thereby achieving rapid curing.

II. Good flexibility

The molecular structure of 3PO-GTA incorporates a propoxy group, which helps enhance the flexibility of the cured film and reduce its brittleness.

3. Low skin irritation

Compared to HDDA and TMPTA, 3PO-GTA exhibits lower skin irritation, making it more suitable for applications that require low irritancy.

4. The pigment has good wettability.

The molecular structure of 3PO-GTA helps enhance the dispersibility and wettability of pigments, which is crucial for producing high-quality UV coatings and UV inks. This can improve both the color intensity and uniformity of the final products.

Due to its excellent pigment wetting properties, 3PO-GTA is currently mainly used in UV inks.
